Updated: Jul 27, 2023

Nowaday, due to the current trend of Synthetic diamonds are on the rise, almost flooding the market because they are cheaper than natural diamonds and equally beautiful as natural diamonds. Until it can not be distinguished by the naked eye, even though our Fancy Collection Co., Ltd. is a supplier and distributor of natural diamonds, especially in the gem and jewelry industry in Thailand. Although this year is entering its 10th year, we still give our customers the freedom to choose and buy diamonds according to their individual vision. As for the company, we will stand firm in selling only natural diamonds with regard to the magic from nature that has been compressed by very high pressure Until changing from a priceless liquid from beneath the earth's surface deeper than 100 meters takes thousands of years than a natural diamond that shines and is precious It is a symbol of the promise of lovers. and the wealth of the owner Until making everyone in this world want to have one in this lifetime

'Natural diamonds' and 'synthetic diamonds' (Lab Grown Diamonds), we can distinguish the difference as follows:

1. Birth of diamonds

  • Natural diamonds It took thousands of years to be transformed from magma at a temperature higher than 1700 degrees Celsius and deep down More than 150 kilometers below the earth, under a pressure of more than 70,000 kilograms/square centimeter.

  • The birth of 'Synthetic Diamond' (Lab Grown Diamond) is produced by man, taking only 2 years. It can be produced in 2 ways : High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT), which simulates pressure and heat temperature. Like natural diamond formation to synthesize diamonds and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), a method for synthesizing diamonds using carbon gas and breaks down the carbon atoms to form diamonds

2. Constituents in diamonds

This requires a tool to check the hidden elements in the diamond.

  • Natural diamonds contain a small amount of nitrogen in the diamond.

  • Synthetic diamonds(Lab Grown Diamonds), as well as other types of diamonds, do not contain nitrogen at all. It is not only necessary to use specific lab tools. But it also requires a high-level diamond expert to verify. which sometimes Even experts can't say they are 100% identical.

3.Price

Due to diamond resources Natural diamonds are more limited every day, so natural diamonds cost 2 - 3 times more than synthetic diamonds or 50% - 60%.

4.Investment and price forecast in the future

  • Natural diamonds, because natural diamonds are becoming more and more rare. Therefore, there is a tendency for the price to increase much further. And if it's a white diamond That are large, rare, or are diamonds that have strange colors such as red and blue, the future trading price will be exorbitant.

  • Synthetic Diamond (Lab Grown Diamonds) As lab-grown diamonds cost 2-3 times lower than natural diamonds, they tend to be more produced. As a result, the price of diamonds from this laboratory is likely to decrease in the future as well.
